"All Abo-o-o-a-ard!" The Looney Tunes Express Lionel 5
Piece Train Set is pulling out of the station! As with the beloved
Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, Lionel Train are an American institution.
In this special edition train set, Bugs Bunny stands poised on the
classically styled locomotive engine, which along with the attached tender
car bears the famed Warner Bros shield and "Looney Tunes" logo.
The locomotive features both working smokestack and headlamp, and the tender car comes complete with a traditional train whistle! The ACME Explosives gondola car finds Wile E. Coyote chasing the RoadRunner Around and around boxes of High Explosives. Next in the set is the WB Armored Car, perhaps the perfect place for Daffy Duck to hoard his precious treasure. The classic red caboose which is lit from within, features Sylvester and Tweety, and appropriately ends this unique collectible set in Warner Bros. fashion with the time-honored "That's All Folks!" logo. This brilliant collectible Looney Tunes Express Lionel Train Set was designed in collaboration between the artists at Warner Bros and Lionel LLC. Each 027 gauge train car was assembled by hand in an edition of 1200, and the custom-designed and sculptured character figurines were painted by hand. Edition size: 1200. From the information on the outside of the box 4 Warner Bros character Figures included in the set: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, and Tweety. Wile Coyote and Road Runner are included on the Animated Gondola. 4.4.2 Die Cast Steam Engine with working headlight and
smoke Shown on the cover are three track set-ups that can be built with the Lionel O-027 gauge tract included in this set, which include an oval, square or circle. This particular set has never been out of the plastic as photographed. This was bought it in the WB Gallery, and have stored it in a temperature-protected, non-smoking storage area. Eventually when we go through some more storage boxes, we know that we have more train pieces that were sold individually after this main set came out. This box weighs 15 lbs in its original box, without being packed into an outer shipping container box. |
